Yay for Korean Skincare: A SokoGlam Haul

Hi everyone!

Welcome To the Brighter Days, a beauty blog run by a video-gaming, makeup addicted, silly little blob of nerdiness named Hannah. I've been itching to blog (and vlog) on all things beauty for weeks now, and if receiving a package chock-full of Korean products isn't enough to get the ball rolling, then I don't know what is!

I hauled these goodies off of SokoGlam.com, a website that offers a tempting array of Korean makeup and skincare products to US residents. Since falling in love with the Banila Co. Clean It Zero cleansing sherbet, I've been purposefully clearing my medicine cabinet to make room for more Korean skincare awesomeness. I took advantage of the recent Black Friday sale and purchased these products to try:

  • Lioele V-Line Sleeping Pack - a sleeping mask that supposedly forms water droplets upon rubbing into the skin. I figured this would be lovely for the dry winter months ahead.
  • MISSHA Time Revolution First Treatment Essence - I'm still a bit mystified as to what this'll do for my skin, but many claim acquiring a more even skin tone, smaller pores, and smoother skin. The not-so-secret ingredient? Fermented yeast extract. Yum.
  • Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream - a fragranced face moisturizer. It has a lightweight, gel-like consistency that seems moderately hydrating.
  • Skinfood Black Sugar Strawberry Mask Wash Off - an exfoliating face mask. This stuff smells nice and fruity, but not fresh. It's more of a cosmetic scent than an authentic strawberry scent.
  • Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion in shade W24 Honey Beige - a BB cream in a compact. It seems a tad too light for my NC35 skin, but I think with some bronzer and more zombie weather days, it'll probably work.
  • A selection of Banila Co samples, including a face primer, CC cream, moisturizer, and that glorious cleansing balm I just talked about.
I can't wait to ease these products into my skincare routine! Are there any Korean skincare products that you absolutely adore?
